Hilary Buff
Hilary Buff is a trans, neurodivergent drag performer in Richmond, VA who lights up onstage. She is passionate about co-creating queer community spaces, so we can all make change together – by sharing energy & resources, experiencing radical joy, and strengthening connections.
At her debut performance at Fallout Fresh Faces in April 2024, Hilary was voted fan favorite by audience applause, and she won the June 2024 Godfrey's Idol monthly competition. In 2025, Hilary was nominated for "Best Drag Performer" in Style Weekly's Best of Richmond feature. She was honored to be listed among three other powerful local performers and was happy to celebrate Michelle Livigne's win (that lady won three years in a row)!
Essentially, Hilary firmly believes that drag is a powerful tool for liberation that can provide meaningful platforms for advocacy work at the local level and beyond. For Hilary, drag has also been a healing tonic for her gender journey and a visceral outlet for rage, joy, and everything in between. In addition to performing, Hilary enjoys being a host and MC. She has experience facilitating creative events, such as:
